These terms cover your use of this website. They do not cover any project we may go on to do for you — that is governed by the written agreement signed before work starts, and where the two differ, the agreement wins.

What this site is
It describes the kind of work we do and how we do it. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, and no page here forms a contract by itself.
In particular: there are no prices published anywhere on this site, and none are implied. A figure reaches you only in a written quotation prepared against a scope we have agreed with you. Any indication of complexity in the pricing section, including the scope band tool, is a description of shape rather than a quotation, and cannot be relied on as one.
The examples on these pages
The industry and service descriptions contain workflow descriptions written from how businesses in those sectors operate. They are illustrations. They are not accounts of work done for a named client, and nothing on this site should be read as claiming a client we have not named with their permission.
Articles describe our view at the time of writing and are not professional advice for your particular situation. Tax, VAT and statutory reporting requirements change; check anything you intend to rely on with your own accountant or adviser.
Content and ownership
The text, drawings, layout and code of this site belong to . You are welcome to read it, print it, quote from it with attribution, and link to any page. You may not republish substantial parts of it as your own, or use it to train a system that reproduces it as though it were yours.
The Bridgness name and mark are ours. Product names belonging to other companies that appear on these pages — payment services, devices, accounting packages — belong to those companies and are named only to say what we connect to.

We aim to keep the site working and current, but we do not guarantee that it is uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or remove pages without notice. Published articles that turn out to be wrong get corrected rather than deleted, with the correction visible.

Where we link to another organisation's site, we do so because it is useful at the time. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they publish or how they handle your information.
